Nature of the Site

The site identifies inmate, jail, release, court, and corrections resources for Martin County and Texas. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document with an agency.

Links and instructions may connect visitors with government sources and third-party research tools. Those outside operators remain responsible for their own services.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site to violate any law.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use information for a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision.
• Do not seek unauthorized access to the site or another system.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
• Do not interfere with site access or operation for others.

No Consumer Reports

Martin County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers screening services. You agree not to use site or partner information for:

• Hiring, firing, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection or housing eligibility.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

External Sites and Services

Links may lead to sheriff or corrections pages, release records, government portals, legal resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for an outside site’s content, privacy choices, data handling, pricing, uptime, or terms. Review that operator’s policies before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are offered “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

• Information is accurate, complete, or current.
• Access will be continuous or uninterrupted.
• The site is free from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.
• A partner search will return complete or useful results.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by the Martin County Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site and its operators from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Content

Site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Martin County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, modify, republish, distribute, or exploit them without prior written permission.

We may change these terms at any time. Revised terms take effect when posted, and continued use after posting means acceptance of the updated version.

Restriction of Access

We may suspend, limit, or block access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Texas Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas. Public records referenced by the site may be governed by the Texas Public Information Act, but that law does not make this private site a governmental body.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
